Change in Dismissal
If there is a change in your child's regular dismissal routine, please send a note to me on that day that clearly outlines the change. If the change occurs during the school day, please leave me a voicemail. Be sure to contact the office should this change occur after 12:30pm, as I may be unable to check my voicemail after this time.
Snack
Please send a healthy, nut-free snack for your child each day. We've got to feed our brains in order to be productive learners!
Birthdays
Birthdays are special occasions in our classroom! Your child will receive birthday cards and a small token from the class. Due to allergies, please do not send in any food items.
Box Tops for Education
We collect Box Tops for Education which are found on the General Mills Products, Ziploc bags, and many other grocery items. Each time we receive a box top, money is donated back to the school. Please watch out for these box tops, cut them out, paste them on the Box Tops handout (I send these home!), and return them to school.
Parent Volunteers
There are numerous opportunities to help make our classroom a better place. If you're interested in helping out in the classroom or from home, here are a few things I would LOVE some assistance with:
- Making copies, stuffing students' folders
- Planning class parties/ special events
- Cutting/gluing/organizing work from home
- Periodically assisting with reading and/or math groups
I will share a Parent Volunteer form on Curriculum Night.
